It was a good year for Arlington seniors in the Northern Virginia Senior Olympics. The seniors (50 and over) took home, 94 Gold, 68 Silver, 41 Bronze medals, in various age groups, the NVSO reported.
Participation across 40 sport and game events broke records both in the number of participants (800-plus) and in the number of events themselves. NVSO introduced new events this year including the football throw and high jump.
