Schools Closed Labor Day, but Pools (Indoors and Out) Open

The schools are closed for Labor Day.

The aquatics centers, still on the summer schedule, will be open on Mon, Sept. 3 as follows:

• Wakefield: Noon – 6 p.m.
• Washington-Lee: 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Yorktown: Noon – 6 p.m.

The fall operating schedule will go into effect Tue, Sept. 4, the APS website says.

Upton Hill Regional Park is open this weekend. Their website says they are open:

• Pool (aka: Ocean Dunes Waterpark): 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
• Mini-golf, batting cages: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
