Hello Steve:
The Monthly Service Project is staging a Yard Sale May 19 to benefit AFAC. We'd love to get a mention in the Arlington Mercury. We have tables to rent for sellers ($15), a bake sale for AFAC, and we'll ask sellers to make a free-will donation of 20 percent to AFAC. Anyone can rent a table -- sign-up is on the MSP web site.
We're a coalition of Arlington churches behind all of this, but we're reaching out to each of our surrounding neighborhoods (Boulevard Maner, Lyon Park, Dominion Hills Civic Associations).
