I am Tony Trabandt and I met you at the joint open house of the County Board and School Board at Ashlawn [Elementary School Monday] night.
The Rock Spring Civic Association at its annual meeting last Thursday night [Oct. 18] unanimously adopted a resolution expressing concerns about the consultative and decision-making process of the Arlington Public Schools and also seeking a re-consideration of the decision to site a new elementary school on the grounds of Williamsburg Middle School.
I was one of the sponsors of the resolution, introduced it and moved its adoption. Attached are my prepared remarks introducing the Resolution and providing specific examples of our concerns about the APS process and the proposed new elementary school. I will next forward you a copy of the unanimously adopted Resolution.
