Final Week: Candidate Cash On Hand

VPAP has posted the campaign finance reports of the three candidates who are vying in a March 27 special election to fill a vacant seat on the Arlington County Board.

The reports, which cover activity from January 1 through March 16, were due at 5pm today.

Arlington County Special Election

• Libby Garvey-D (Raised: $46,701 On Hand: $27,800)
• Mark Kelly-R (Raised: $45,343 On Hand: $5,778)
• Audrey Clement-I (Raised: $3,934 On Hand: $775)

Today's disclosure represents the first -- and only -- full look at the candidates' finances before Arlington voters go to the polls on March 27. The vacant seat was created by the resignation of Barbara Favola, who now serves in the Virginia Senate.

Candidates are required to disclose any last-minute donations of $500 or more before the election. Earlier today, Kelly reported an additional donation of $1,000.
