Morthadha-Ali-County-Fair-2012

Morthadha Ali serves cold drinks on a hot Thursday afternoon.

The county fair has taken off to a bit of slow start, if the vendors I spoke to are correct in their assessment. Today, meteorologists are calling for rain just about the time people would flood the fairgrounds outside the Thomas Jefferson Community Center. However, the indoor exhibits will open at 4 p.m.

If you want a copy of the full pamphlet, click here.

If you thought you'd go to the fair today, but are wondering about the rain, you can always check out our slideshow and see what you have missed so far. We'll be there when the festivities start, rain or shine.

Check our "County Fair" section on the website. We'll keep updating.

I just wanted to drop a quick thank you here to Arlington Independent Media who have given me space and a computer to use while my equipment is in the shop. Thanks AIM!

On a separate note, check out our Pig Race Coverage.

Please Show ALL Candidates

Can we have photos of Matt Wavro, Audrey Clement, and other candidates for local and state office - who unlike the incumbent Democrats have spent many hours meeting voters at the County Fair - shown on this blog? Or is Arlington Mercury going to become like AIM - totally in-tune with the status quo?
