ACPD is looking for missing teenagers, Nathalie Benitah and Christian Manzano.
Update: 4:20p.m.: Missing Arlington Teenagers Located
From Arlington County Police Department: The Arlington County Police Department has located Nathalie Benitah, 14, and Christian Manzano, 15. They were found unharmed in Fairfax County this afternoon.
The Arlington County Police Department is looking for a teenage couple that has run off together and is asking for the community's help in finding them, police say.
Det. Crystal Nosal said police and the family do not think they were abducted but left together of their own accord.
Nosal said the family is worried about their general well-being. They do not know at this point where the couple may have gone.
“We’re looking here, but we’re broadcasting out to other states,” Nosal said. “At this point, it’s up in the air.”
According to the press release, Nathalie Benitah, 14, and Christian Manzano, 15, both of Arlington, were last seen at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012. Christian's family heard from him at about 7p.m. last night, but have not heard from him since.
Nathalie, a white Hispanic female, is five feet, one inch tall, 130 pounds. Christian, a white Hispanic male, is six feet, one inch tall, 180 pounds, according to police.
“[Nathalie] was last seen wearing a red jacket, purple shoes and was carrying a purple polka-dotted backpack,” the release states. “[Christian] was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans and a black knit cap with a ‘Dallas Cowboys’ logo on the front. Christian was also carrying two backpacks; one was camouflage print and the other was orange and black. Due to the severe cold, police want to locate the couple as soon as possible.”
