The five-member Arlington County Board holds regular meetings one Saturday every month except August. It holds recessed meetings on the following Tuesday afternoons and evenings. Saturday morning meetings can run for hours.

The Crystal City FRESHFARM Market takes place every Tuesday through November 19th, and features a diverse selection of foods and goods from local producers. The market runs from 3:00-7:00 p.m.

The Arlington Disability Advisory Commission is a 13-member citizen advisory group appointed by the County Board to direct community attention to the full range of needs of persons with physical disabilities.
